So I have a new love of photography with my new camera! Here are a few favorites from our July camp in Nikolaev. Faces that continue to stick in my mind….
My beautiful friend Mary Lynn came to join the fun!
I was pondering the feasibility of bringing an orphanage graduate over to live with us as an exchange student for a year. Do you know if such a thing is possible? Or without family, would an orphan not be able to get a visa? Alternatively, do you think a girl or boy might want to come as an "au pair" or mother's helper?
Just trying to think of a way to give a young person who might benefit from it a year to learn English - maybe even another year of school... and a family of sorts - perhaps not an formally adoptive family, but maybe a spiritually adoptive family.
So many beautiful faces!! Your photos are haunting...
