Preparation and Anticipation
The last couple weeks around here have been FULL. Sometimes it amazes me the amount of things that can be going on at the same time! We leave on Friday for camp and have been working on all the details of that for the past few weeks--and boy have we felt the attacks of the enemy on this! From leaders getting sick, to leaders dropping out, to less kids than we expected, the preparations of this camp have been a true test of faith and endurance. I know in the midst of struggles God can teach you so much about trusting him more-- for every small detail--so I'm trying to learn. I pray that the attacks we have felt on all sides are just a testament to the work that Jesus wants to do through these camps and time with the kids. We are anticipating GREAT things and are showing up to be USED by him. Please be praying for these camps. For the leaders that will be serving, for the kids that we will be working with-- most of who are all older than 14 and more boys than girls (that is a prayer request all alone!) We will be gone at camp from the 4th of July till the 27th.

The family I have been helping to adopt the three precious kids from Ternopil have returned to the US to wait out the 10-day post court wait and then will return to get their kiddos at the end of the month sometime. It was a joy to work with this family and I have to stop and remind myself how blessed I have been to meet adoptive families from all over the U.S.-- their stories and journey's always touch me and become a part of my own story. Included are some pictures from our weekend in Kiev before they left.
